Abongile is a mild-mannered, slightly off-centre young man with a rather keen and queer sense of humour and anger. He is not very educated and lacks a sober role model. He also hates unfairness in all levels and thus decided to start a blog with which he will undoubtedly save the world. Furthermore, he resolves to slay anyone who does so much as smile, let alone chuckle or giggle after reading this peace.
On a more serious note, I was born and bred in Khayelitsha, Cape Town in the mid-80’s. I later moved to the southern suburbs of Cape Town where I finished my high school in 2005. I then studied law. However, I feel that I am more of a writer than a legal scholar. This blog came about because two friends who work for a Cape Town nwespaper thought I had potential to be a good writer and satirist.
I have had a few family issues and tragedies. And I am smart enough not to think that they are not affecting me (even though I would like to think so) because in 2003 I was diagnosed with chronic depression and had to take medication (yes, you will know the green quasi placebo pills if you have been there).
Now I am a Robinsonian, a person who follows the beliefs that Professor Ken Robinson uttered in the TED talks speech about education. In a way the manner in which things are currently done in unfair on certain if not most people.
